Mama Sashi’s 70th Birthday

Our boys are super lucky to have two great grandma’s…one of whom just turned 70. W & H are her 10th and 11th grand-children (I know…insane. The Perrys love having babies :)).

Mama Sashi (her name is Sally) is a grandmother that any grandchild would want: caring, generous, and a little crazy…in the best way ;).

This was our first big trip out of town and it went SO WELL WE COULDN’T BELIEVE IT. We drove in the evenings so the boys would sleep and slipped them into bed when we reached our destination. It worked out so well. It also didn’t hurt that that same sister-in-law (and the hub’s brother and their four children) opened her house and made everything so convenient. We didn’t even have to bring pack-and-plays! It was such a help and made traveling so easy.

One of the gifts we gave her was “Seventy Things we Love about Sashi”. Same sister-in-law organized that…yes, she is a superwoman.

Well…Memorial Day weekend got even better.

I was lucky enough to take pictures of some favorite friends of mine. This is Snowy, Chip, Liz, Meg, Drew, Charli, & Sam. And man…are these kids stars!

I cannot thank the hubs enough for coming along with me, making EVERYONE laugh, and literally making every shot priceless. I really could not have done it without him.
