Beautiful wedding weekend

1 Nov

This past weekend I was lucky enough to participate in my great friend, Mary Beth’s, wedding. Here are a few snapshots from the weekend.

She was such a beautiful bride and the entire day was full of love (even though Hurricane Sandy was right outside). Mary Beth put on a strong, sweet face and didn’t let a little lot of rain phase her.

It was the perfect day.

a beautiful day

25 Mar

Finally…a post about the wedding.

Location. Buena Vista Winery and Vineyards
Date. 03.12.2011
Weather. FABULOUS!

This was just a beautiful, fantastic day. This wedding was special…meaningful…personal. The bridesmaids processed to “Somebody to Love” by Queen (performed by Vitamin String Quartet). The bride walked down the aisle to “Storybook Love”, which happens to be the theme from one of my favorite movies: “The Princess Bride”. Awesome-sauce! (thank you Parks & Rec for that lovely saying).

Tucker had planned EVERY DETAIL. Every person who attended or had anything to do with the service was a close family friend. Everything had purpose, place, and meaning.

FYI…for some reason, these pictures turn out super long and out of proportion in internet explorer. I’m going to advocate for using Google Chrome anyway…but at least use Firefox to view this blog.

wedding – Anita & Craig – Eastern North Carolina

31 Oct

Yesterday I shot a wedding of a friend and coworker. I was super nervous, this being my first wedding and all. I think I hid it well, though. All in all, my camera and I made it through together unscathed, and Anita and Craig got hitched…without a hitch.

It was a beautiful ceremony. Very simple. Their children walked in first, then Anita and Craig followed…together, holding hands. All they needed was love…and it was abundant yesterday.

Afterward, just Anita, Craig, and I took a walk to a covered bridge (one of the only ones in Lenoir County). What a beautiful end to a beautiful day.
